When the hype around the XBox 360 (name cooincidence?) settles down, I'll buy a Premium and PGR3 and play with that, too. On the treadmill, GT4 and Forza are fine. From a "sim" standpoint, which is all I'm really interested in, GTR and now GTL are all I want or need. I think GTL is a more modern generation of game development than GTR. The high-detail graphics (I can't get over the dash and even gauge detail, even the oil-scum on the windshield!?!?!) required a 256MB DDR video card upgrade but it is absolutly incredible. I do get a LOT of track time, mostly in older cars (Alfa GTV, Fiat-Abarths, FIA-GTC Ford Falcons and Holman's GT-40) and in comparison to GTR, the new physics engine (GMotor2 in GTL, an upgrade from the one in GTR) is just sublime. That said, I bought GT Legends a couple months ago and it is on a whole new level (up) from GTR in terms of realism.
They let me play on after my time ran out because there were about three dozen people who had stopped to watch! It's THAT good! When I was in Vegas last month, I went to the "exotic" car dealership in Ceasar's Forum Shops and, after paying up to try their "simulator," discovered it was GTR in a fancy cockpit with a good display and a good sound system. The 360GT is fun, but the Murcie sound is INTENSE! It'll only get better as more people develop add-ons for it.

I've also used Watkins Glen and Road America to coach our SCCA National and historic drivers before they get to the track at the shop and at home. I even use the "M3 Mod" to show new BMWCCA Club Racing drivers the right and wrong examples of behavior in our schools! Makes for some very entertaining A/V demonstrations! I've had GTR for some time now, There are now add-on cars, tracks and other enhancements that really make the game quite entertaining.
